Lava rock or Volcanic Rock is formed when magma erupts from a volcano. Once the stone is cool, it becomes porous and black, creating the beautiful black color so many have come to love. They are fantastically unique!   It has been estimated that volcanic rocks cover about 8% of the Earth’s current land surface.

                    Lava Rock has been admired for it’s healing attributes for centuries.  It is known for it’s grounding properties and is considered to be great for calming emotions as well as  stabilizing and grounding the root chakra.
